We were lucky enough to catch up with Alan Wilson, Tripwire Interactive's Vice President at early hours of the morning, just a few days before GDC begins. We talked about the success of Killing Floor, the launch issues of Red Orchestra 2, and the status of the upcoming expansion - Rising Storm.

Sounds awesome. Great to see Killing Floor still doing so well :D
If you get back to him, or he gets back to you, ask him why it's been almost five months since public Beta, and they STILL haven't gotten rid of their ****ing god-awful context key and spread the binds across multiple keys. Presently one key handles:

1. Moving into and out of cover.
2. Picking up fallen equipment, or using objects like mounted MGs.
3. Bandaging wounds.

If I saw a nice gun that had fallen anywhere within a metre of a wall, I didn't even attempt to pick it up; doing so would have made me do a Cossack Cover Dance where instead of picking up the gun, I'd transition into cover behind the wall instead, no matter what I tried to do. And then I'd get shot in the face. And if a bunch of Huns were charging me and I wanted to use a mounted MG? Good bloody luck. This is the single biggest reason why I stopped playing RO2.
