net_graph <number> - shows connection, fps and other info overlay in game ( no overlay 0 - full info 4)

So it should be net_graph 0 put that in console.

If you still want to know your FPS just install Afterburner and set a toggle on/off button for the on screen display.
I have mine set to show FPS and GPU temps and when it gets in the way I just switch it off.

The boy goes to the LAN every Saturday night from about 10pm - 1am. If you guys are playing then I will make the effort to go!
