From DC to Marvel and Web Comics to The funnies you find in the morning paper, comics can be found in lots of places. I read comics everyday, and have been for many years. This thread is for anyone and everyone who wants to talk about comics.

You read a lot of VG Cats and you want to talk about it? Do so here. You like to buy printed comic Books? Discuss what you're reading! There re so many different comics out there, surely there's much to discuss.

I think I'm gonna have to give up looking for Volume 3 in HC.

I went to Minotaur and the guy had put away Volume 4 for me because "thought you said 4 mate". Didn't even say sorry. Anyway, can't find it online or in store near me. I even called kings comics in Sydney, but they are also out.

Has anyone seen this online? I can't find it anywhere. Any help with this would be super appreciated.

Hey, do you guys use any sites for your updates on comics and just general information on comics? You guys are good help on recommending comics but it would be nice to get some source of information for comics. Also, just general information and updates would be nice too.

I'm finally up to date with The Avengers (the newest series that is). I thoroughly enjoyed the Norman Osborn/H.A.M.M.E.R story arc. I'm really looking forward to reading The New Avengers, which should arrive this week.

I read all of the new ultimate lines, only enjoying Spider-man.
Enjoying Avenging Spider-man too. FF seems to mostly go over my head with all the characters I don't know.
Avengers Assemble has all the character I want but just isn't doing it for me :/

I'll read The Avengers next and hope for something not too overly complicated with a bazillion new characters I don't know :P

I really enjoy reading spiderman too. I read the first issue of FF and it seem to be good from what I read. I probably try to start somewhere with The Amazing Spiderman series. I haven't considered Avenging Spiderman yet, I probably should.

I also had the same problem you had with Avengers Assemble too. I liked The Avengers so far from what I have read, although the story is some what complicated though and they do have a lot of characters I don't know (keep in mind I don't know many to begin with). Although, I don't feel like it will take away from how awesome the series really is. If you like avengers than I reckon you should definitely try to pick it up. You could always just wikipedia up on those characters you don't know to keep you updated (like what I'm doing).

There's spiderman too in the main avenger story, he is really funny in it. Definitely one of my favourite characters in it along with wolverine.

X-O Manowar was a surprisingly good read for anyone waiting to get in on the start of a new universe/series . The second series Harbinger is looking
really good too.

Its more of a re launch of the Valiant universe but has no ties room previous continuity.

Mind the Gap was a great read too

I guess when I catch up with the main avenger story, I'll start with the New Avengers. I was wondering how spiderman is coping having to team up with so many people in different comics. Doesn't this guy sleep?

It's Wednesday! NEW COMIC BOOK DAY!

Read the newest Wolverine and the XMEN just before, it was great. The art is excellent in this issue, and the story is a great set up of things to come.

I also read the newest Avenging Spider-Man. The art was great but the story was kind of dumb. I don't really like one shot issue stories like the one in this. Still worth a read, but certainly nothing great.

Has anyone else checked out the most recent punisher series? I've never read any of the previous volumes, but this one is really good so far. Lots of action and drama, it's makes for a great read.

Good read. Your in-depth analysis of the art tells me you have read a lot of comics to make such a distinction of the art. It was really informative to see your point of perspective of the art. I hope I get there too once I read more comics.

I definitely pick this up sooner or later, I was keen on picking it up because it's spiderman but this article definitely made the push for it. Definitely keep on making more articles like this, it's a good help for people looking for comics to start reading. ^_^
