I am 35 and have been gaming since about 5 years of age. I started in the arcades (pinnies) and played space invaders in the fish and chip shop while waiting for my order.

I have 2 kids ages 4 and 7 who both like gaming in their own way. My boy 7 thinks I am the absolute best dad as I get lots of consoles and gaming platforms and get the latest games for him. My son was given a DS by his grand parents and after a bit of testing by myself, my wife decided to get me one for the christmas that just went by.

I have many consoles but nothing that has grabbed me like the DS.

What other handheld can play games, movies, pictures and be a PDA and emulator for many different systems. All this fits in your hand and all for a reasonable price. I know there are other sites in the MyMedia collection but MyDS is the only one that I post on.

Eldude said: Ohh thanks ICC. I have said this a few times. I am just ecstatic to have a .com.au for the DS. I like how most of the content is user provided. I like being able to publish my views without having to start my own site or blog etc. I just wish more people would press the Cool button or comment on our work to give us motivation and incentive to produce more. This even goes for pictures and video's that are added.
It seems the forums are doing well but this site has a hell of a lot more to offer than just the forums. Its people like you ICC that keep me coming back.

I know what you mean about reviews Eldude I've written a few on DS games since I've been here, check my profile if you're interested(yeah cheap plug ) and it's a bit shattering when you've spent many hours writing and researching something and it doesn't get much attention. I do try and read most peoples submitted reviews but at the moment I'm stretched across 3 sites, I don't mind it but it cuts out a lot of my reading time.
