What did you think of the EB Expo?

I'm going to write a report on what it did right and wrong early this week, but instead of just listening to what I have to say, I want some input from gamers who went.

So tell me something you thought it did well, something you thought it did poorly and how that could be improved next year.

I'll add as many as I can into the article.

I think it would have been too hot if there were more lights, especially on Friday when it was over 30 degreees.

Lighting for me also.

They needed more exits/entries. I got blocked at the door a few times from douches taking photos with cosgayers.

Although I didn't go it seems like they got some good people from the industry (related to games there) to do some panels, last year had just about none, so seems like they improved in that area.

you know what i wouldnt mind? if they actually spread it out a bit and used more of the buildings around the showgrounds

having it all shoved into effectively the one building makes it tens worse than it needs to be

I forgot.

They also need to follow their own ratings for events. Don't make it an MA15+ event if you're gonna ask people to leave for having certain words on their clothes.

Without going off topic I think it's one of those 'Ethical\Moral things"

Public or private property I think they have a right to ask you to leave/change your shirt/ and in some cases police can even fine you.

Normally I'd agree, but I passed security at the gate and at the door and was sitting right in front of them for about half an hour before I got inside, then I was asked to change. If they asked me before I was on the grounds or even in the building I would have taken it on the chin.
