I'm still making it!
I've been slowly editing the default terrain.png - first with a few bits from the painterly pack that I particularly liked, but now with my own images - so far I've done stone, dirt, wood, torches, ores, trees, planks and a few other things (oh yes, doors - my doors are screen doors!).
It's meant to be an Aussie themed texture - so the stone is Australian granite, the trees are more spare like gum trees etc and iron blocks look like corrugated iron.
If you have any ideas let me know! I'll be putting it on my blog when I'm done.
