Don't most midnight launches have playing stations set up? And besides, going to the midnight launch you're surrounded by people who WANT to talk about the game, not sitting in a movie theater trying to talk about something while more than likely pissing someone off.

There's a bunch of internet cafés and such who organise midnight launch events, where people can come in and be part of the first group of people to play a game.
And anyone who bothers to go to an EB midnight launch is sure as hell not going to go to bed as soon as they get home. If they care enough to get it at midnight, I'm pretty sure they have no qualms about pulling an all-nighter.

I've bee. To like 4 or 5 midnight launches, and I've played the game right as soon as I got home. He sees a film at midnight so he can experience it as soon as possible, right? I'll buy a game 12 hours earlier than most people because I want the same damn thing.
