Someone I know actually works as a Samsung rep and says that the majority of the parts in Macs are actually made by Samsung. So, even though Apple might be more successful, a good share of it actually goes to Samsung. Guess they're kinda annoyed about that so figure they can sue Samsung for every device they manufacture -_-

Having traveled from California to Singapore in the last couple of weeks, I have to say that Samsung really is freedom. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, I can buy a new SIM card and prepaid phone and broadband service anywhere I go. My iphone-toting colleagues are jealous.

speaking of sim cards, I really dislike apple's move to those micros sim cards... anyone trying to do those "micro" sim cards will probably get sued so no point in the industry moving in that direction ;)

That's really the whole point though, isn't it? Apple products are severely limited in terms of where you can go and what you can do with them. I'll take a less reliable platform if it means I can do things like turn my loading screen into the original Sega loading screen...

lol those mirco sim cards are likely to stop iphone users using phones my sister nearly broke my phone by trying to put one into my HTC

While this is not such an issue with the open borders, you will have to circumvent the German customs, thus online purchase from other countries will not be possible – only buying the physical device and carrying it over to Germany will do. This will not hit the iPhone 4S, but customers wanting to buy an iPad 2 3G are out of luck.

from guyvers link about the germans. i dont feel any sympathy for what i just pasted, unlike aussies people in and near Europe can fly somewhere else in an hr like we fly interstate to sydney melb qld perth etc.... we're cut off from the rest of the world, we cant just pay a couple hundred dollars and fly to England for the weekend and buy something and come back like they all can.
