Hey GUY!!! im currently looking for a new gaming keyboard for my brother... as his bday is coming up next month... and hes been living on a PS/2 keyboard which we bought when we bought our first desktop...

i have 3 keyboard in mind at the moment... money is not an issue its all about the looks and what it can do...

first of all he loves to play DotA on my desktop cause i have the Logtiech G15 Keyboard (the one with the blue light, not the red)

so right now im tossing up between the keyboard which i got now and the Razer Lycosa - which one would YOU buy for your self?????

also i want to know if the Razer Lycosa can be programed like the Logitech G15..... while your in the game you can program your keys by pressing the "Memory" key which is above the Macro Keys and lock in the set of keys which is needed

Lights are about the only reason. Take the lights out of it and you have nothing special, just a DAS level of quality. Basically I'd put Ducky between BlackWidow and DAS quality wise, Leopold FC500R is miles better and FC700R miles better again.

Nope, they look good but they're pretty meh quality wise. Just very light and cheap feeling compared to the Leopold keyboards.

Another vote for Leopold. This thing is tough. I dropped it on tiles when I was carting it around, and not a scratch on it. Great weight as well.

What keyboard would be better to buy. Thinking of getting the Leopold FC700R but not sure which switch to get, and also which colour keyboard to get. :P

Would the white get really dirty as in the keyboard changing colour. I don't really eat around my keyboard, but if I do it is usually a bag of chips or something.

i wouldn't bother if it has Cherry Red. It wont really tell you what a mechanical is like. Leopold is very good for the money. FC700 to me weeks better than my new Majestouch 2. The Filco has nicer keystroke but the PBT caps make the FC700 feel way better, and adding the price into it further defeats the Filco argument.

Coolermaster Quickfire might be worth considering. I would recommend Blue or Brown switches to start with.
