What mouse you guys use? what type? what dpi?

im using some randie ms optical mouse. but ive gone through a copperhead and a habu in the last few months. im looking to get a mamba once they're released.

I play a lot of online FPS so it gets a lot of intense use. But also Razer make stuff ****. Mine was the eXactmat which was two sided and both sides got ****ed in no time.

Ah thats probably why. I buy the hard plastic kind, haven't used a cloth/woven one for ...actually ever. I aaaalmost got one too. Maybe next time.

yeah they are great. soft to so my hand doesnt get uncomfortable... my hand is more comfortable sitting on the pad then on the mouse

My issue has been they're mostly higher than plastic

and the SteelSeries one is. I won't buy anything by Razer ever again so the Goliathus is out for me.

If it's anything like the speed and control side of the eXactmat they are, and control is better.

And Jubi you just press the side button when it asks you to to assign that control. If that doesn't work it might not be supported but that's hell rare these days

in L4D you double click the thing and press button you want and bam

Verdict on Sidewinder X3 - a good cheap basic gaming mouse. It is good for big hands compared to standard mice anyway.

The side button is a little awkward to press and there is only one on each side. The buttons aren't as soft as they could be (like in the sidewinder X5 they are really soft).

DPI tracking and surface are good.

It's good for the price it is at the moment $35 but there are better out there.

In specs and features my gig is better then the x3... i have not yet used a x3 so i cant really give it a fair comparison.

but ive had no complaints about my gig except for the pain fading already
