What mouse you guys use? what type? what dpi?

im using some randie ms optical mouse. but ive gone through a copperhead and a habu in the last few months. im looking to get a mamba once they're released.

Had a go with a Deathadder today, painful to admit but I was pretty impressed with it :P If it could not break for say... 5 minutes, it would be an immense mouse! Needs a little more bulk on the right side for a pinky rest but apart from that its brilliant.

So I got a new Mionix NAOS 5000 today and seems to be working finally :) Problem is, now its working fine... I can't help but notice the laser is just not as good as the Xai. I swear its the hardest thing to ever explain to someone when they ask you why the Xai is so good, you can really only respond with "Get one and you will see". So many people have one now, and how many of you regret it? I don't like its shape because I like big mice, but apart from that the thing is ****ing flawless. It's like the old IME2.0 which I bought about 4 of back in my CS days: Just better.

Seriously if anyone is looking buying a mouse at all; **** your budget, buy a Xai.

With mine right now and its actually very good. You will have a hard time finding one that reacts better for the money.

The best is supposed to be:

But I haven't used that. My old S&S Solo was brilliant and the Mionix Naos 5000 actually analyses the S&S as a higher quality surface than the Mionix rofl. Even with its age and genuine wear (I play a loooot of games) it still scores well and works brilliantly.

The Mionix is a smoother surface physically but tracks almost as fast.

And yes, **** your budget dude, get a Xai. Not a Kinzu. Kinzu is optical and smaller, Xai is really not a huge mouse so I can't imagine many Anglo's having hands small enough to warrant a Kinzu. Steelseries literally designed that mouse for Koreans.

Well I use mine with a razer goliath and the thing is rock solid and crazy comfortable, with being over 5mm thick and made or perforated rubber with a cloth top.
Problem is, it catches cat hairs easily and their claws destroy it as if it was clothing.
I have a SS QCK mousepad at work, but its only 2mm thick and find I can't use it with a standard style mouse before I get massive pains in my wrist.
Basically, either the razer goliath or SS QCK Heavy are what I would recommend.

Eyw cloth! Xai so much better on a hardmat! I got a goliathus too but after a minutes use, gave it to my parents and got my Steelseries back out :P I like high sensitivity and sharp response. Always found cloth too catchy and slow.

I have no problem with catching.
I should add I always use the "speed" variant of products ai find the "control" does in fact catch and generally doesn't feel nice.
I also just do not like hard mats.

I like the texture and feel of my Xai but that thing is hard to keep clean especially if your snacking while on the computer...probably shouldn't be doing that but I'm not the only one.

Urgh too much Logitech gaying this thread up. G9X or its not a gaming mouse. This isnt the "Ergonomic web browsing mouse with superfluous DPI" thread now is it!?

I hate Razer too, but I acknowledge they are gaming mice. Logitech can label it a gaming mouse, but tain't so.
