What mouse you guys use? what type? what dpi?

im using some randie ms optical mouse. but ive gone through a copperhead and a habu in the last few months. im looking to get a mamba once they're released.

should write some reviews of mice... if i keep this rate up i will have to

1. Saitek Cyborg. i clicked to much it doesnt work anymore

However it has THE BEST profiling software i have ever seen. and the extra buttons/macro's just make gaming so much easier. and the profiles for the macro's just make it EVEN more easier.

I love this mouse, but i decided to buy another one before i tear it apart attempting to repair teh button which i think is faulty because i click to much :/

E~ i just realised... the Gigabyte Ghost isn't on pccg anymore... i bought the last one

I dont think that you can say that you broke it by clicking too much. It is designed to be thrashed. Maybe they should keep to making aircraft sim joysticks and throttles

i use razer mice for the performance and the accuracy. seems like most of the people on these forums buy these crazy mice for the looks like the sidewinder :3

razer deathadders or a microsoft 3.0 are the best

+ just because the DPI is higher doesnt mean anything...

it was always a bit temperamental but not really noticeable until the past month... dont get me wrong its an AMAZING mouse, the software is just spectacular, and its so comfortable for my hand. but maybe it could be made just that little bit better...

Dont get skarteh started on dpi. it does mean a fair bit when you have the right person explaining it to you.

but you have to remember the fact, he's a cs nerd. and all cs nerds like razer and the IME3.

I for one do not like razer.
at all.
uncomfortable and the models that i have tried out didn't have dpi switching so that was just terribly annoying when it comes to going from gaming to browsing.

the razer is very comfortable! unless you have hands bigger than any normal mice, then go with the sidewinder i guess... try the new razer imperator as well, very comfy

and yes rookie thats true :> because razer deathadders and IME3's have won me numerous lan comps

in aus and back in the philippines (inc wcg quals, didnt come first tho obviously

)

but seriously, who would need 128561278+ DPI on a mouse? all my friends that use mice like g5s and etc, they just default DPI @ 900. all these new mice with 5000+ dpi, they just seem pointless and are a waste of money. when you can buy an IME3 for $50 or a deathadder for around 89 and it will perform way better than all those mice

i use 3200. soon to use 4000. i just use max so it drives everyone insane when they try to use my computer... i can always tell when someone has been using my computer, you just see them storming down the hall in a fit of rage cause they cant use my mouse xD

meh... they are all the same as the gigabyte ghost. same specs, same amount of extra buttons, same weights, same type of profiling software. and they all cost $60 more. im happy with my purchase, just have to wait to use it...

comfort is in the hand of the mouse holder.
the shape just feels like a little bump, not something my whole hand cups. I have a different opinion, I don't like razer and most of the their products, get over it.

I like razer mice. But this is my opinion. no one will affect it in anyway so if someone doesn't like something. So what? Its just their opinion and no one has to judge it. I like the Razer Mamba.

my new gigabyte is here. it is sexy

The software is a bit meh, (especially compared to cyborg's) but the mouse is comfy, bit edgy in my hand but i will get used to it (the cyborg was so curved etc im used to that) 5 minutes after starting to use the ghost i put every weight in it because it was just way to light... its a bit long for my liking (and has no length adjustment like the cyborg) but the on the fly dpi adjusting is sweet, cruise at 3200, game at 4000. it picks up when i click xD, it looks so sexy, the cable is braided nylon or something rather then normal solid plastic. all in all, fairly comfortable, bloody sexy, and good features that are let down by the software...

The second thumb button is a bit far away for comfortable use but i will get used to it...

I bought a gigabyte mouse today, have no money for what i really wanted >.> i Got the M6580 it's got 1600 DPI and switch able between that and 800 with 1 dpi button and 2 other random buttons. Only $14 too, the best mouse i EVER used and it's not that great, i also got a nice cheap logitech keyboard, gonna get a G15 before christmas hopefully.

Alright i am raged beyond belief at this software

No matter what settings i use i cant voice chat without it being all super spam 2 press a seconds

(whichs makes me sound garbled)

I want my voice chat on my mouse non negotiable. but my macro software just sh**s me so much!

umm, usually you can just do that in game.
just set the thumb buttons as mouse 4 and mouse 5....

I just went to my friends house. He had like 3 Gaming Mouses (Logitech MX518,Logitech G5 and razer deathadder) and he uses them for different purposes in gaming. I asked him if i could have one because he has so many. and he said 'NO'

i wouldnt have a clue... i have never tried :S

But i finally figured it out

i have to put a delay between the button press and release. the i can make it stop at release.

A mate of mine has a MX518... he won in our mouse off this afternoon

Thats what you call a noob. Try and find ONE pro gamer, or hell, anyone who takes games seriously; who does that.
