If i were you i'd get a 5850 towards the end of the year, so by then i hope the prices of the ATI's are stable

Is that true btw ? 8800gt, 9800gt and 250 all the same but with minor differences ?

Fow sho! They'd be pretty close and I bet the 5870 will inch ahead in some parts but it's still early days for Nvidia drivers. Time for a driver war I think.

Interesting, pretty clear difference there. But at the moment the 480 is nearly the price of a 5970 so its still got a way to go before you can put it head to head with the 5870.

Definitely going to see some impressive **** as the drivers on the 480 mature.

If that was a game then yes, thats a significant difference. But its not a game its a benchmark and at the moment its not any better in games.

I Which one Should i go for?

HIS HD5850 MW2 Edition
XFX HD5850 Black Edition

I want MW2 so badly (even though no dedicated servers) But with the Black Edition you get Dirt 2. Should i get the HIS for its cooler or the XFX because of its Clocked speeds?
