I'm getting bored this morning, haven't slept yet..

What mouse pad do you use?

Seriously dude!!!! Pick up a bad habbit or something!! 4.30am and your looking into mouse pads???

Anyway right now I personally don't use one - in fact I don't actually use a mouse much - been using computers before there where mice so kind of got used to it, and prefer it.

I was looking for some a while ago for a customer, other than gaming mouse pads, which cost more than their desktop, (keyboard and mouse), I couldn't find any from any of our regular suppliers - the suduko thing office works does doesn't count - so we ended up getting our own propoganda cheap CRAPPY, and I mean CRAPPY ones - even the print quality is embarrassing, made to hand out to the suckers/customers.

At one stage I actually thought mouse pads were no longer being made - until I came across gaming ones - seriously $80 for mouse pads, are people retarded???

Edit:

If there is anybody interested in an $80 mouse pad I could probably knock em out at less than $30 a pop, anodised to what ever colour you want - as long as the colour is available

And yeah. my inomnia's kicking in again..

all i've been doing is looking for stuff to do and chilling of vent and playing cs...

Condemned on the 360 for me right now - never got round to playing it until now.

But still 35 for a mouse pad is OTT, especially seeing how when mouse pads where an everyday requirement they were 10 a penny, now that they are suddenly a gaming "only" requirement, (something that only har core gamers would buy) - seriously the whole point of optical and laser technology in mice in the first place was to get rid of the mouse pad!!!! - their prices have sky rocketted,not to mention the crap they sell, anodised aluminium??? wtf you anodise steel, aluminium doesn't rust - thats the point of aluminium.

my mouse surface is really rough.

and i now have a small razer. but it's not big enough.

so i am getting one double the size.

and it's liquid resistant

But not having something smooth and big (and thick) for a mouse (to me) is uncomfortable. Right now the cloth on this mousepad is slightly peeling off on the edges. The zowie pad i'm getting is sealed with rubber allround

and it's big. So happy me.

But i agree with the 80 mouse pad, waste of money. spend that money on a good mouse, one that's comfortable and accurate to use on an average mouse pad.

35 is the top i would pay for a mouse pad..

Would of paid 26 for the razer one in pccg, but the zowie was spill resistant and had rounded edges. And I could only find it in china where I was getting my mouse from. So paying a little bit more postage doesn't hurt

i was looking at mouse pads yesterday... my tiny little blue one with a massive lump where i don't need it, is driving me insane!

I need something big and comfortable to use.

well bigger then 24cmx20cm. but when you take the lump out of the 24cm you get... 18cm

so 18x20cm.

Any recommendations. will prob get sister to buy it for my b-day. if its around the $20 mark.

well for me they give me more resistance then my desk, and they are more comfortable.

but when the mouse just slides it drives me insane, i need some resistance so i don't miss that head. if you get what i mean.

oh and it would look sweet if it was black/red.

Ok I can see that. What's your mouse? If your having problems like that on a mouse pad then check your settings.

So control and jack the dpi up if needs be. im cruising at 2400dpi atm.

haven't bothered using anything higher, just stupid

My mouse can go up to 4000dpi but I think I only use half of it.

well i came from a 1100dpi mouse to this, so i left it on 2400... might jack it up slowly and get used to it.

I don't find that these mouse pads make much difference. A little but not a lot. Depends what you used before I suppose.

The poor mans pwnage pad:

Grab one of those manilla folders, tape it to your desk and bam. Hugely smooth mouse movement. I used to use one with my optical mouse. I noticed almost no improvement going from that to a Razer ExactMat which was $45
