i was just curious about what mouse you all use and what mouse surface you use if you have one ;] and settings also if youre techinical, your settings as well

Having my Xai save all my settings in the actual mouse has come in handy. Had to do a fresh instal of windows and when I went to re-install the Xia manager all the settings were there.

I use a Steelseries Kana, but I don't use the Steelseries engine. It's a hunk of crap, half the time it says it couldn't find my mouse drivers and crashes, and it doesn't even let me make autofire macros.

Yeah when I realised how much memory it eats I just disabled it from bootup. Now I only open it when I want to edit something.

Used SS Engine to set it up once, haven't bothered with having it open since then. What's the point? It saves on the mouse.

It took me way too long to figure out that you need to click the mouse wheel to confirm your settings. I was hitting the sensitivity button and raging that nothing was happening! Then I read the manual. [Derp]

I just bought myself a Razer Deathadder [Derp] to replacement my Sidewinder X3 because I think that one was too big for my hand and giving me wrist pain at an awkward position.

They are sexy as [Derp] definitely much sexier than my Sidewinder X3. I think the Sidewinders are made for big hands. Only thing is that the mouse will no longer match my G15 keyboard :(

I want to get a kana, I currently use a sharkoon fireglider, quite nice to use, it has a good weight to it and all but I feel like I'm going to break the buttons on it, they just feel so flimsy already. What is the kana like? Does it feel cheap and plasticy?, lol. I don't think I would use the extra features in the sensei to be worth the extra money so the kana seems right for me atm

^ that is the other mouse I am looking at the z3ro-g edition is at pccg for the same price as the kana. I was going to get it instead of the one I have now for my last upgrade but I decided on the fireglider because I needed it right away and it was in stock, lol.

What is it like to use?

Kans is pretty light Az, it is made well but small and light. Too small for me. Get the Xai maybe, 95% as good as the Sensei, no frills. I'd probably avoid the Coolermaster, I found it comfortable and decent laser but it doesn't hold up to SS and had reliability issues.

And Jub the hell made you buy a Razer :|

Like Skart said, the Kana is light, but very sturdy. No creaking or wobbliness, no complaints on my end. He doesn't like it because it's light, but the weight of a mouse doesn't matter to me because I drag my wrist and little finger on the mouse pad anyway.

I'd like a recommendation of a good mouse.

It's for mostly daily usage, but I game a bit on my laptop too. Wireless, that's not too bulky either.

Any decent recommendations with a decent price? (i'm in the UK but hit me with suggestions anyway, amazon can take care of it...)
