Rumors are already floating around about the GTX 600 series www.engadget.com/...

I thought the rumour was that nvidia was skipping the 600 series for desktop and going straight to 700.
They have already released some 600 chips for notebooks however.

Rumours make baby Thor cry.

I'd like to think they'd match AMD in memory too.
Whatever they are going to call it I WANT ONE!!! [Derp]
:( i just bought a 560ti a few months ago

Me too.

It's just a few months old, it's still good, it's still good [Derp]

Couple of my mates want me to build stuff for them in the future (Cause at a grand total of one built computer with 75% help from MMGN, I'm the best at it) so I might keep an eye on these.

Nah they're matching the 69xx series instead I think. You'll be looking at 2GB. I did hear it was a 512bit bus though, not 256bit. I will be disappointed if the latter turns out to be correct.
Quote from EpicPCCases on OCAU:
"I'll see how it looks and if it needs changing I will change it

BTW is anyone heading to Supernova in the Gold Coast? I've been invited to go with Republic of Gamers and will be showing off this case with Battlefield 3 running on it.

Oh..and there's gonna be a Maximus V Gene and 680GTX in the case. Yeah, there's that "

So it seems there will be at least a 680, so maybe there will be a 600 line?

???
Yeah?
They were announced a while ago, where's the ambiguity? o_O
Here is a Leaked video of the GTX 680 and it's shiny features. [Derp]

Some benchmarks gizmodo.com/... of the 680.
It's looking good.

Saw BF3 running on ultra on a single 680, pumping well over 60FPS. [Derp]
I was feeling sad, because I'd just bought a new rig and was like "WOW, NEW CARDS ALREADY SADFACE".
Then I saw the pricetags. Now I am suddenly REALLY happy with mine.
Jeeeeesus **** man, are new cards always like that?
It's at about the same price point that the 580 came onto the market at.

Still a kick in the balls though. [MOG] I only recently built too.

Top end Nvidia cards cost a small fortune when they first come out. I spent heaps getting a couple of 480s on launch day [Facepalm]
I'm rebuilding my system soon, i should be getting 2 of these in a month or two [Derp]. OverclockersUK have got these in at £449 a piece right now but i gotta wait [Rage]

They still hold up now.
Wait a couple of months and you'll probably save $100+.

I'm still hearing they're planning to release the proper top end as apparently the 680 is based on the midrange card they were going to make.

Another thing you guys might not know about these (I sure didn't), apparently you can use ALL outputs concurrently. So DVI+DVI+HDMI+DisplayPort so 4 screens off one card. This has been done before with Eyefinity but not in the same way, you could never use HDMI/DVI/DVI with Eyefinity... HDMI always disabled one of the DVI ports, so they must have essentially an active output in one of those ports to send a third clock signal with no adapter [WTF]

Love to know how they have done this...
With magic!
that's crazy @_@

It's about time they did that
Well I think it was a Windows limitation or something based on how many clock signals can be output by a single device. Can't remember where the limitation came from but the use of active adapters was the only way I thought it could be avoided. Using such tech on the actual card outputs would probably do the same thing.

Some really cool stuff about these cards, only 2 x 6pin which I'm sure you all know but also they are under 26cm in length when around 27+ is pretty normal now :)

GTX 690

The price is scary as hell but check out the materials this thing is made of www.engadget.com/...
From that link:

..two can run together in SLI as an effective quad-core card. With that said, NVIDIA claims that a single 690 runs 4dB quieter and handles about twice the framerate as a duo of GTX 680s in SLI..

[MOG] [MOG]

I want 3.
