I've started a new discussion for all PCCG related topics since the older ones are in the "buy/sell/trade" section. Since many of use use this retailer I thought we could befit from having this here as a normal thread.

I just noticed a Gigabyte ATI HD5750 Silent Cell 1GB www.pccasegear.com/... that's available for pre-order. That would be a really good card for a HTPC setup. I have a 9800GT version of this card for dedicated Physx and that cooler does a great job.

Twin Frozr for sure dude! The entire shroud around the phantom is plastic and shitty and it's 2.5 slots. Twin Fozr is miles better!

Also get a Crucial.

thanks for the feedback man, that's what i said to him but he's pretty solid on the phantom, not big on that plastic casing.

i didn't like the one I handled. Probably cause it wasn't customised to my hand but the material wasn't that nice either. Anyways, mice are always opinion

Im not a resolution snob, im a picture/image quality snob.
1920x1080 on a 27" looks like crap.

Just because something is more common, does that make it better? Or is it just following the masses?

By following that sort of logic, macdonalds/hungry jacks is the best dining out experience, dvd's are better than bluray and midrange video cards are better than high end video cards [Facepalm] <---- Cant do that enough to your comment

I Agree 16:9 isnt the best, but im not willing to spend damned near double the price for the extra inch or so of screen space.

In regards to your first comment, see the above.

Personally, i will never go with a 3 monitor setup untill there are bezelless monitors, something about black lines through the image just doesnt tickle my fancy

Yeah I just said it's the most common, where did you get me saying it's the best from? I spent $1200 on my screen I'm hardly about to defend that one. Just seemed weird you seemed surprised it was 1080p.

I have pretty thick borders on my multi-screen setup. Looking at it when not gaming you'd think it would be annoying but once you start playing you barely notice it.
