Very nice, you have a similar setup to me. I also have my PC in the lounge room with my media PC.

Does your tower get hotter than usual down there on the floor?

Not that I can tell, gpu might get a bit warmer since the bottom intake is slightly covered.

Thanks man.

Just realized that my PC is now close enough to plug into my LED TV and the controllers I got both have really long USB cables on them. I could deactivate surround mode and plug my PC into the TV and play some games like that.
Should get Street Fighter or something like, even some racing games would be fun to play like that.

Laptop as desktop substitute master race reporting in.

Don't know what I'd do if this laptop dies on me. Would probably get a decent Thinkpad Edge to replace it.

With this new lounge room setup I can plug in one of my computer screens into my HTPC. That's what I've just done with the second screen being a copy of what is displayed on my TV. This comes in handy when I want to turn my downloads on and off while seated at my desk.

...yes I'm lazy :P

but after months of neglect i went out and bought a new desk.

Picked it up for $60, decided not to use the keyboard tray as it's a PITA.

2 more 24's and a rehaul will be done over the coming months.

and as you can see, she's not as fang dangle as it used to be! :)

anyway, currently building a media PC.

Nothing fancy, but a nice 6TB of space, then i can start off with the upgrade (if the gf lets me lol)

Finally got a steering wheel setup for my PC, as a bonus this Logitech driving force GT wheel also works with a PS3.
So far I'm going through some of the driving games I have to get a feel for it. It's no G27 but so far I'm pretty dam happy with it and it was pretty cheap. I've wanted a wheel for a long time but didn't want to spend too much money and then I was worried about the space it would take up. Now that I have it I'll work out the space issue later.

Running games in surround screen mode with a wheel feels great, just have to get used to playing with the in-car view. Just doesn't seem right playing it from the chase view now.. yes lots of crashing so far :P

I really wanted the G27 but I really didn't have the cash for it. To be honest the only reason I bought the Driving Force GT was because it was on saddle. I've been messing around with it tonight and I H really like it.
