I though every other part gets a topic, why not the face of the computer, the Monitor.

To start it off I saw the Acer X243HQ 23.6" on MSY for 278($229 After $49 Acer cashback)

Can anyone tell me if its any good?

if you have a second GPU then I don't see why not.

I currently have a 24" and 2x 20" monitors hooked up (looking to sell one of the 20"s mind you)

no room on my desk though which is annoying. (one of the monitors is set up on top of the PC case!)

Do you recommend so many monitors or should I just stick with two 24"?

I'll stick with the two 24" then.

Looking at the BenQ G2411HD now as opposed to the E2200HD because it doesn't come in 24".

I wouldn't say I know the brand inside out, but I use an AOC 2216Vw. Sharp screen, wide viewing angle, great colour contrast (everything looks very vivid), fast response time. 22inch wide with a 1680x1050x32@60 resolution. Doesn't get super hot, no external powersupply and not all that thick. Exterior looks good too. Never met anything to hate with this screen.

From what I hear they are a typical "you get what you pay for" kind of brand.
They are cheap, but don't expect too much from them.

My friend has an AOC screen and its horrid. It does the job for gaming but I've seen how bad the colours are whenever I see something I know the colour of on his screen. They're WAY off and theres no way to fix it, the only way to make it lighter/darker is using brightness there was not enough contrast to bring true representations, it just hit a wall.

The budget BenQ's were much better. They're still pretty arse but brilliant for the money
