Razer's had their PC gaming is not dead campaign running for a while, and we finally got to see what they had up their sleeve. and i creamed. repeatedly. one of our forums main bitches about gaming laptops is that they way a freaking ton, but this claims to be ultra portable. thinner than a macbook? **** yeah.

So are any of you as pumped as i am for this thing. ill nev er be able to afford it, but i can still stare in awe.

Will wait and see if they can get the price down a lot because there is no way this will become "the standard" like they are hoping with specs as relatively crap as those and a price as extreme as that.

So PC gaming is going to be "saved"... By a ****ing laptop? What a piece of crap and there is no way known I would trust a company that cannot even make reliable peripherals with that kind of money. That laptop would be a warranty disaster.

Implying PC gaming even died. It never died; first person shooters just got shitty, that's all.

So Razer makes computers now. If other products are anything to go by as for how long they typically last before they fail then maybe there'll be something to replace HP/Compaq laptops in the tier of highest failure rate.

They're the size of most laptop keys...

Pretty much this. They'd have more luck if they merely used the Switchblade's UI as a keyboard and made a new mouse to go with it. 99% of people would rather pay $100 for an awesome keyboard rather than $2800 for an average laptop.

Dude that keyboard would be way more than $100 :P Mine cost $139 and its a normal keyboard with mechanical switches. No lights no LCD's or anything lol

The Optimus keyboard had an LCD for every key and was $2500 or something :| I'd expect this to be ~$400

I looked at specs and then went lolwut does that mean? Are they actually any good? It says it has a specialised key setup for Battlefield 3, so I assume it can actually run Battlefield 3.

I was hoping this announcement would have just elaborated more on the switchblade (if that could even be done...), so keen for that baby! Seems like it would be great for mmos or a bit of rts!

Yea I would defiently use this for MMO's. Considering MMO's aren't the most graphically intensive games a lower speced machine could probably handle it and that would lower the price a bit. But for its price now... nty

Your $3.5k now gets you a 256gb SSD instead of the 5400rpm palette drive they had in there before.
