updating drivers how?

hi guys, just wondering how do you know if your drivers are up to date and if not how do you update them? can it be set automatically and has any one used a program called
driver detective, its showing alot of my drivers are out of date, but not sure how to update them..

stay away from those programs that show which drivers are out of date.
Generally, no drivers will ever be out of date and will only need to be upgraded if something gets broken somehow due to the drivers.
Basically you will only ever need to upgrade your graphics card drivers.
If you want to download the most current drivers for everything go to the part's manufacturer website and download each driver from their products page.
