pretty cool trailer, and the info that the video has linked to isnt bad either (the IGN article)

the fact that they want to make it more gritty and dark is a good thing, but i guess only time will tell

I heard its like Dead Rising but its FPS instead of TPS with RPG elements sandbox style and it has 4 player drop in/out co-op. Kinda sounds like Dead Rising even the title is similar 'Dead Island'. The publisher say it will hopefully be release this year.

Hopefully equates to "probably not". Not good to say "probably not" for investors.

Also, the intro is a lot like the Dawn of the Dead remake intro. Still awesome though.

It's scheduled for a 2011 release on Xbox 360, PC and PS3, but no specific dates have been revealed yet.

Been waiting AGES for more info on this, looks awesome. Its been in development for years as a FPS, but the zombies arent "fast", they're sorta slowish.

Fascinating cgi trailer, very well done. Just hope the in-game visuals are good as well.
Deep Silver have done quite a lot of game over a long period of time, I've never really took notice of their name.
