Let's face it - the AAA titles are a little dry at the moment, and I'm pretty sure other than Mass Effect 3, most people are still playing the staples of CoD and BF3.

There are so many indie projects across ALL platforms - there's no way I can cover them all on my own.

So let's open a thread where we can talk about, share and educate each other on what indie games we are playing at the moment, what we love and what we don't.

Right now I'm really into three indie titles.

Journey on the PS3 which is utterly amazing! If you own a PS3 take the plunge, you won't be disappointed. You can check out MMGN's full review here - ps3.mmgn.com/...

Lone Survivor which is currently on PC and Mac. It's a side-scrolling survival horror in a 16-bit (SNES, MegaDrive) graphical interface. It's really creepy, disorientating, hard and enjoyable. It's only $10 too, which nets you both the PC and Mac version. There's a thread on the PC channel at the moment if anyone is interested.

Finally the other game that has taken my fancy is Super Lemonade Factory on iOS. I'm working on a review for the Apple channel at the moment, and even though it's been out for a while, you should definitely look into it.

So what indie games are you all getting into. If you find that a certain game takes a deep interest for you, don't be scared to make a dedicated thread!

@Ben and I have been playing the beta for A Virus Named TOM a lot lately. Such a fun experience co-op and really tests your brain. Definitely keen to see how it polishes up!

had to restart again on legend of grimrock cause i was stuck with the spiders.. so im playing on easy.. but without the map.. just was too hard.. i wanna enjoy the story not get frustrated :)

O rly? You need to sidestep more, girl. The trick is to fight one at a time, and fight in a 2x2 grid space that allows you to attack and sidestep quickly. Once you get two enemies on you it's basically death, unless you either use pits to drop enemies, or use Icebolt or something to freeze one enemy in place while you take care of the other. I don't think you can go toe-to-toe with any enemy in the game (except for one Snail at a time), even on Easy.

I've been chatting to the developer of Wrack and I'm starting to get very excited about it. He made some prominent DOOM mods back in the day, so I think the game is going to play out a lot like those old school shooters.

If anyone hasn't tried it, Dustforce is $4.99 on Steam right now. It's a fun Sonic-esque platformer

Bastion's also $5.99, but who hasn't already bought that?

EDIT: I've been playing Wrack all day for a preview article and I must say, if you like your classic shooters like DOOM and Quake then you'll be in for a treat. Written and video preview is coming up today!
