I've been excited about Portal 2 in general but I'm especially excited to see how the cross platform co-op goes with the PC and the PS3. I've never tried any game that features this and from what I've heard it hasn't been successful but I'm hoping Valve got the formula right this time.

I'm keen on Portal 2 i'm a noob to the series though so will probably take a while to get the hang of the gameplay, i'm just glad that Valve has finally given in & embraced the PS3 platform let alone make the superior version for it with the cross-plat coop :).

Hopefully we might see future titles like L4D3? on the PS3 with cross-plat coop because I think Valve is just testing the waters with what they're trying to do like Steam on PS3 :O.

I'm really keen on this. I have a few friends, half play PS3 and half play PC, and all are looking forward to Portal 2 :D

I hope they add this feature for other Valve future games. (Team Fortress 3, Left 4 Dead 3, etc.)

With any luck we "might" see the L4D series make it's way to the PS3 if this works out well. If they manage cross platform with that as well then the future will look bright.

I really hope it works, although I would never buy a Valve game on PS3 unless it comes with PC for free because I PC is better for FPS IMO.

Good thing Portal 2 does then ay much better then buying just the PC copy because you don't get the PS3 version for free :)

I was originally going to just download Portal 2 off Steam but I might get the PS3 version with the steam download code. I would like to see things from bother perspectives.

Couldn't find another relevant [GD] thread but was looking through EB's site & came across this Cube Edition www.ebgames.com.au/... anyone getting it?

Also can we change this to our Portal 2 [GD] thread please admins.

I'm really keen on this since I never had a game where you play with console gamers when you're on the PC.
