18 for ink, 16 with parental permission for piercings, no tattooist worth his weight will touch an under 18 it is somewhat permanent compared to piercings, your still developing physically as well as mentally, I got my first at 13 but it was done by a guy that owns a parlor that i went to school with his oldest son - who now is the new shop owner/head artist/manager

I could get one now to if I want, but he's not licenced so it's not worth it.

Seriously think about what you just asked, the license is for hygiene and health and safety, it doesn't mean he knows how to work the gun or is a good artist, it means he knows how to sterilize his equipment, that he uses new needles for each person, and that he is aware of and knows how to minimize cross contamination, he is after all creating an open wound basically, that's all any idiot can buy the equipment I own a few guns.

Good tattoos aren't cheap, cheap tattoos aren't good, expect to pay anything from 150 an hour to 300 an hour for a good tattooist.

look at the picture of the cheapie SevenII got, (no insult man) its blotchy it will need touched up more than once every 5-10 years, yes they need touched up every so often they do fade with age, check my profile in about 30 minutes or so and i'll try and put some pics up of some of mine.

My first tat done at 13 was Taz, the cartoon character and its still one of my favorites, and no i can't post pics - I'm pretty sure nobody wants nude frontal shots, yes it that close I was 13 so i needed to be able to hide it.

i uploaded a photo of my flames and what not, just the ones on my left arm, think you got to click my user name to be able to see it, I think it might of been the photo I sent my parents in 07 to let them see the new stuff, they hate tats btw they call me the tattooed ****wit.

No, you are totally right. Although part of the reason it is blotchy is coz I picked the scabs

, but it was still a s**t tattoo job. For $80, I got what I paid for.

Didn't you use nipple cream (benpanthen you know, i don't how to spell it, i don't know where i put my tube, i haven't needed to use any in a month or so), or KY, or even Vaseline?

So far i have paid sweet FA for any of my stuff, but the guy i get to do most of mine i have known since i was 11, that's almost 19 years now, plus he had a thing for my sister when he was 16
