Don't think Adelaide can win if he plays? :P

He played out the last quarter pretty well, so I imagine if he manages it well during the week he'll play. With Swan a likely out - they'll need him even more.

Yep if it was premeditated that was pretty harsh for that reason & it will be funny if they put up a good show with that as motivation.

Lets not forget the Suns nearly knocked off Essendon & GWS beat them, that being said i'm nervous about this upcoming Suns match we don't backup from wins well...

Wouldn't be surprised if Sheedy planned it that's something he'd do to build up a game, they also rested a lot of their better players in preparation for the Bombers game.

If Rodan is in I might be more confident, especially if he fires & plays like Pearce did last week.

Darwin fatigue factor also needs to be taken into account, most teams usually don't play well after a NT game but I'm still nervous after seeing what Ablett did last time.

David King is a sensationalist. He will end up just like Jason Akermanis if he keeps flinging shit to stand out from the crowd. There was no reason for a former Kangaroos player to be the one that said 'what everyone else didn't want to'.

Going back to what I said at the start of the season, I think Freo will not benefit from Lyon's style, the weekend's game showed that perfectly. Doesn't help when you lose your best midfielder, in Fyfe, sure. King said Neeld is the wrong man because he's changing the style, but it's right for the Demons they were going nowhere under Bailey and nowhere with that style. Freo on the other hand were a pretty good side with Harvey, with a great list, changing their style put them 12 months back. I think they will miss the boat (lose Pav, McPharlin, etc soon) because the Tigers/Bombers/Crows/Eagles will be big over the next couple of years and the GWS/GC after that. This is the year a team like Freo could have taken the reins.

Who wouldn't be, did you hear his first post match interview? Was pretty scathing, wouldn't be surprised if he's the first coach to lose a playing groups support after just one game.

Devaluing senior players never turns out well our coach had & is having similar issues, good man management is a key part in club success & a healthy culture.

Got a decent trade worked out in Supercoach where I don't have to trade out Swan, out Shiel & Milera in Mitchell & Zorko.

King was an average-at-best footballer that now is apparently some AFL strategists that knows everything.

That was made apparent on Fox Insider last night when he got 15 minutes to whack Melbourne & not one word was said about his side bending over to a fellow struggler in Port in the 5th biggest/quickest comeback win ever.

These guys are professionals though and the older guys especially should be listening and leading the way. And if they really are upset at not being in the leadership group they need to grow up.

His comments don't even make sense. If the squad can't follow a new game plan then why are they playing football? Players should be able to easily adapt to change. Taking King's comments into consideration, if the players can't play to Neeld's plan, then that is an issue with playing list, not the coach.
