Phew very lucky to not be punished for having Cox as captain instead of Gazza, only got knocked out of one random league finals in DT.

Did much better in SC though with 2400+ could've got 2600 if Gazza was captain!

Congrats on beating me dude, I thought Cox would have dominated too :O

I purely had a shocker and recorded my lowest score in a very long time dissapointing to be out of the MMGN league but I'm still in a few more.

Looking good for the Prelims in the SC league though.

Yeah sorry for being the one who knocked ya out Jason, the way my teams been up & down I don't expect to get much further in the finals unless Buddy stops the stuff arounds.

Doubt it. They get tested right through the off-season, when they're not scheduled to play.

Is it true the players only get drug tested if they're scheduled to play? Might explain why he's been given an extended lay off to get it out of his system

No, you can get tested any time. They can rock up at your house mid week if they want.

Yeah he needs to be back this week to have any chance of being dominate in the late finals.

Needed to be back 2-3 weeks ago to be ready for finals, so he'll be a liability at least the first week.

If the Hawks get a week off, he should probably play VFL.

Yeah I hope he's back this week so I don't have to rely on a 30-50 points from Tippett who's rusty as after all these nasty concussions & trade rumours :P

Their forwardline has been better without him.

As I said a few weeks ago when he was meant to return, I doubt he'll spend too much time at full forward. He'd be better off as a pushing far up the ground chf who occasionally pushes back deep (not most of the time as he has done in the past).

But not sure he'll have the fitness to essentially play as a midfielder.

It should be a good game and it's a great preparation for the finals, it's also good to see the game has been sold out for quite a while too.

I agree in a way, but they weren't great against GCFC. Roughead wasn't 100% and no Cyril either. Gunston has been a great full-forward replacement for Buddy, he is really hard to man up on because he is tall, athletic and a great mark (and kick). I wouldn't be surprised if they park him in the goal square with Cyril at his feet and then have Buddy & Roughy roaming half-forward. It could be pretty potent.

Gunston would've been a great replacement for outgoing Kurt Tippett, I actually think he's a better forward the only advantage Kurt has is he's also a decent part time ruckman.

I've said it before but the Crows must be pissed to lose Gunner, he was a great pick up for Hawthorn & will be a very good 10 year key forward.
