I agree in a way, but they weren't great against GCFC. Roughead wasn't 100% and no Cyril either. Gunston would've been a great replacement for outgoing Kurt Tippett, I actually think he's a better forward the only advantage Kurt has is he's also a decent part time ruckman.
I've said it before but the Crows must be pissed to lose Gunner, he was a great pick up for Hawthorn & will be a very good 10 year key forward.

The Crows have lost so many tall players recently, and yet have so many remaining.

Yeah I wish we had the same contingency plan with most of our list, with our poor recruiting in the early 00 years stuffing us over right now.

Not sure many thought the likes of Salopek, Chaplin & all the other players scarred by the 07GF would fall off the hill so quickly once Tredders, Lade, P/SBurg, C Cornes & co were retired/moved on.

Our midfield needs the most work we could do with a few more Brad Ebert ex pat SA lads, would like to get Polec back off Brissy lol.

Well the 2 teams we've lost this year were the swans, and WC. Definitely not losing against WC at home.
Good thing on buddy is, if we need a goal he can get one for us.

Wtf! So Hartlett gets two weeks for slightly winding an AFL favourite but a 110kg bloke stomping on a players knee whilst their on the ground which could put them out for a year isn't worth a penalty?

So Selwood pushing his brother over which drew a week ban is more serious than potentially crushing someone's kneecap?

The AFL MRP & tribunal are a joke...

Someone (Nick Riewoldt, I think...) recently said the suspension rule for the Brownlow shouldn't be applicable today, because you used to be suspended for really serious offences that were quite rare... and today it's much easier to get weeks for more leniant things.

Thought it was an interesting point.

Thought it was an interesting point.

It might happen eventually they're changing the rules for the rising star competition, probably because Toby Greene is ineligible over a really soft report.

IMO Greene should be the rising star favourite with Talia & Cameron close runner ups just behind him, Dustin Martin probably should've won it the year he was nominated.

Has Shaun Atley been nominated yet? If not he probably should be, he's had a great 2nd half to the season.

Dunno, I just go to AdelaideNow where they aggregate all of the Herald Sun footy content and it's not behind a paywall.

All the same SuperFooty content since it's shared across the network.

This is why paywall failed. They seemed to forget that during the trial, you aren't just limited to the site of your city [Facepalm]

So apparently HS allow you to access their articles if you're entering from a Google link. So when it asks you to pay to read an article, you just copy pasta the url into Google and it works.
