Go for something like this:

General Shaving discussion

The shape of the thing is not important, but it should have the following characteristics:

1) Made from ceramic, porcelain, glass, or any other material that can store heat.
2) Not too deep: ideal height is just above the ferrule of the handle.

And yeah, we choose materials that hold heat because that is how the lather gets warm.

I have a question: I've seen cartridge razors with batteries in them, and when you turn them on, they vibrate. Why do you need a razor to vibrate? What is it supposed to do?

I swore by it and used to for as long as i can remember.

I look back now and think...........wtf was i thinking

Nup, mine doesn't grow enough to need shaving. Ha! :P

I take it you do? I'd hate to have to do that, I'm sick of shaving my face enough. Couldn't bare having to shave the chest as well. X_X

Haven't tried it myself but would not recommend it just based on a drunk experience with shaving a section of my leg. Gets pretty itchy and coarse as it grows back.

@Matteh No I don't, but I know a person who does, though I never really talk about it....doesn't really interest me. I don't really have much hair there anyway. Not like I'm Greek or something.

I SHAVE MY EVERYTHING [Shifty]

On a serious note. I shave my chest once and as abuu says it get very itchy. I also got lots of pimples and whatnot as a result. Also tried hair removal cream which actually worked wonders by didnt last long... I also tried to wax.... boy howdy I gave up on that after the second strip.

I had a couple of people comment on the manliness of my manly chest hair bursting through the top of my shirt so I shall let it flourish [MOG]

Edit: @Hamzie I now see why you all love shaving so much [Facepalm]
