Can't wait in a few days before I can shave .... hint of sarcasm.

After a while it's a monstrous task. I let my grow out of lazyness for the last couple of weeks ... it was a real task to shave it all off. I think I ended up lathering about 4 times to get rid of it all.

starting off is a little odd though. (making sure you're buying quality stuff)

I'll probably go online to the shavershop and order something online. I have no idea where it is at blacktown so yeah.

Shaving? I try to shave once a week, but lately it has been getting ridiculous, with my beard (if you can call it that) and mustache growing back (or growing enough so that it looks like I'm a hobo) in around 4 days. [Rage]

We need an emoticon with a guy with a 'stache..... and maybe a green hat with a large L. ^_^

Only if you like getting nicks and razor burn. Besides, the blades are so inexpensive, why wouldn't you change the blade if you needed to?

Typically I only need to replace the blade every week and a half, but I do it every week just to simplify it.

im clueless.

i should get around to buying stuff online, though i'd need recommendations to whats good to buy from the shavershop.

probably gonna have to go back through a few pages and find out all the shit i need again.

And my answer was an actual answer. =P A good indicator of when a blade is getting dull (any blade, be it DE or cartridge or straight razor) is when you start getting a bit of pulling or irritation, or you get more nicks than usual. At that point, it's time to replace the blade (or strop it, if you're using a straight). Continued use of such a blade can only lead to razor burn and rash.

Changing the blade? I bought a pretty good blade to start off with and it's still pretty sharp. I give it another half month, or maybe even a month, before it dulls; it's pretty good quality. [monkey]
