Instagram - Who uses it?

A lot of you may have heard about Instagram. If not, basically it's a social medium for iPhone users to upload photos with a special App. You can add filters to the photos, giving them different looking effects.

It's an iPhone only app, and thus the pictures cannot properly be viewed in the actual app itself, however when you upload the image you also have the option to share it with other social mediums (such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr). Even if you don't use Instagram (or even have an iPhone at all) you may have seen your friends upload their pictures elsewhere.

The beauty of the app is, anyone can upload anything at all. Just like a lot of other social mediums, people can add hash-tags (#) to the start of words so that people can search for them later on.
Some of the tags can be silly, and sometimes it's easy to go overboard adding the hash-tags to your pictures, but it's a great way to get people to have a look at what you've done.

I thought it'd be nice to show off some pictures that we have taken using instagram. My name on instagram is @piddlesticks. Here's some of my pictures that I have shared with facebook.

I use it a bit. I just wasn't ever a big photo taker to begin with. I use Instagram more for the social benefits tbh. The filters are just an added bonus
