But then we don't use mics in it really, generally a few of us open a Steam chat and multi-voice.

Ah, I just find it odd how nearly everyone uses the in-game chat for TF2, yet I've yet to play in another game where people do the same.

Every game Valve makes everyone uses voice chat

COD4 people just don't, mostly because heaps of servers didn't have it and its pretty **** compared to Source games and the like.

voip in valve games is really top notch.
in cod4 however, you might as well use steam voice chat because it has better clarity, and that is really saying something!
