So I have heard that tonight or tomorrow, DICE is going to announce some news regarding BF3.

And I have also heard that this news will be about cross-platform gaming. Note that I didn't say multi-platform, I said cross-platform. :D

If they go ahead with this, it will be quite interesting. I haven't heard much of cross-platform initiatives since Microsoft called off their experiment after they found that mediocre PC gamers smashed great console gamers thanks to the advantages of keyboard and mouse.

If this does go ahead, though, then the push for first-party keyboard and mouse control on consoles will be very strong indeed, and consoles will come that much closer to becoming little PCs. ^_^

Thinking of doing the same, but I keep hearing reports of people going on their live chat service and getting a 20% discount if they complain enough.

the retail copy online is like 50% at places and free delivery. If you don't mind waiting go that. I wanna take advantage of the cheap price but at the same time i don't care enough about the game

DICE says that they have finished the Battlefield 3 beta on PC and consoles, but they want to release them altogether as a whole and is waiting Microsoft and Sony's all clear.

Valve are like that too (no joke intended). People would care more about that than a MW3 leak. Like no one is surprised they have a game due in November...

We shouldn't really complain though, DICE have been very lenient with gameplay footage even before E3.

I just saw the 360 gameplay footage. Compared to PC it's got nothing, still much more appealing (aesthetically) to its competitor, MW3.
