This game is nearing release and I keep seeing trailers that make me BADLY want it! The multi-player looks much much better than BF2 both infantry combat (pet peeve with BF2) and vehicular combat.

Heres the latest video:

Looks very intense and I cannot get over how much better the infantry combat looks. I always thought that if BF2 had CSS style infantry combat it would have been unbelievably good, now it looks to have very Modern Warfare like combat I think that could be right on the money.

Very pumped for this game, I'm hoping lots of us get it! Would be an awesome games night game

Might be limited by the amount of people that can run it though...

Got my key not long ago...Its pretty damned immersive. The destructible environments make for a totally different experience
I get the occasional lag spike and knifing seems to be really really weird
Im so out of practice at fps' its not funny

Need to get some practice in the choppers too
Still, i think ill buy the game

Played for a little while, runs really well on high for me. Joined an american server accidentally (messing around trying to figure out what some buttons did, lol) and wasn't too bad. Got a few kills, drove a tank for a while, which was fun

. Then I shot out a skylight to get into a builing and got stuck because none of the doors would open, lol. Do I need to blow them up or something?

looks fantastic though, I might buy it, but I have a couple of other games on my list first, gonna give it another bash tomorrow, might see you all on there.

Can't really see the difference there. Shouldn't need 2x5970's :s its not a hugely attractive game it just doesn't run well. I have it down to bloody low now but the menu still ****s everything up. Soon as a menu opens it goes all choppy. I thought it was settings too high but its only in the menu. Might try out High again see how she goes.

Mind you it doesn't look that different on low...

this i didn't know but found out this morning.
The beta, the graphics, are restricted to medium.
You select high and all it does is turn on AA and HBOA.

Going to have to wait for the demo or final release to see if the game will in fact look better than the beta.

Already know I'm going to need to up my bloody system powah to run this sucker maxed. That or they gonna have to fix the menu thing

the higher the graphics the longer the choppyness goes when I check the scores... on high it chugs for about 10 seconds straight if I press tab once

and I don't mean skips a little I mean 3 seconds between frames XD

I just had the best bug.... Sniper with a RDS.
I was using a rds on my assult then i changed to the default sniper class with no changes and the RDS stayed on. It was Awesome

ah, well you can unlock the RDS on recon class anyway, must have just not distinguished the change properly.

I fine that recon is really good with the semi auto sniper and 4x optical zoom, or the first bolt action sniper with 12x optical zoom.

What is in-game names?
