It looks interesting, I hope they do a bloody fantastic job for combining my 2 favorite gaming genres FPS and RPG. The only 2 best games that have done that so well is Fallout 3 and Deus Ex.

Well I just watched that video and saw the gameplay footage and its **** house. The graphics and the story and the game play is very very lame. I mite consider getting this game when it has hit the bargain bin in 3 to 4 years time.

Oh there it is! Wow does it not look a million times better? The reveal trailer doesn't even look like a game I'd play, where as the 2nd one looks like a game I really want to play!

Bit of art direction does wonders.... the atmosphere is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better!

I would guess that it's because the game is released on a totally different date for us here in Aussie Land. OFP2 is being released on the 9th in other places, for example, but on the 15th here.

Had a good game of borderlands today at GO3.
Seemed like a really fun game. The first areas are a bit bland with the exact same type of enemy, but I can just imagine how cool it would be to enter the waste lands and battle massive beasts and the like.
Definitely a game to play on the computer, not 360 or ps3.
While it was good, the aiming felt really floaty. Mouse is the only way to combat that

When I played it the controls just made me shudder and I put it down pretty quick. Never can get used playing FPS with a controller.

But I liked the look and visual style of the game

Yeah I loved those games, but was never a fan of the control style

And it has freaking aaages since those games have been played. I bet I'd be frustrated at those games too.
Nothing beats a keyboard and mouse. Search your feelings, you know it be true...

I'd love to be able to play PD/GE on my computer with a mouse perfectly and online multiplayer

Sadly the GE and PD mods fall very short of the atmosphere of both titles and only have multiplayer anyway, I love the single player just as much!

Update for retail users

2K has a site at www.2kgames.com/ where you can manually activate Borderlands. Securom blocked me from installing normally, but activating manually at this site seems to have worked. This needs to be done before you start installing the game. Will update again when the installation redoes everything.

Update: Installation worked.
