I noticed that there wasn't a general discussion on this game so here it is.
It's not far away now so who getting this game when released? I know MW2 left a sour taste with PC gamers and I still haven't bothered with that game...but I'm tempted to give this one a chance if they have dedicated servers.

yeah the maxrate one.
It is set to 25000 on the servers so I don't know why it wasn't fixed with a patch on the client side.

Edit. just picked this up from abother forum

This setting enables Glow (HDR?) shader effects. Normally, this should have a negligible performance impact. HOWEVER, this setting seems to be buggy! Performance improved DRAMATICALLY when I set this option to "0"

Does MMGN have a server for this? I was at a LAN cafe with friends today, and MMGN Community Server popped up a fair bit.

I'm pretty sure some of us where playing on it last night or this morning. (memory hazy)

That was the period when i was trying to sort out my lag problems.

@doyl i saw that glow one earlier when i changed alot of settings around, it does really help. :D

ok sweet, i'll give the glow fix a go later on.
as for the MMGN server, it is sometimes empty, but most of the time that I see it it's nearly full.
It's rather erratic really. I'll get home in the afternoon and the server will be chokers, and then game for an hour or so, leave to fiddle with classes, and then come back and its empty.

Still, if it's you and even 1 or 2 other people, i'm sure it wouldn't take long to get the server pumping.

Son of a bitch, someone made a troll thread on the Steam Forum with the game's twist right in the title. Knew I should have stayed away from the Steam Forum.

Ah well, by the time they fix the game and I come back and reinstall it, enough time should have elapsed for me to forget all about it. @_@

That's because it doesn't do that. It's not MW2, it uses an in game friendslist and is not as integrated.
