Pact said: I look forward to playing on Inferno difficulty with you.
Pact said: Dénor said: Stupid question, but do all the things you do in the open beta get transferred to the proper game when you start up? No You need to stop looking at the "OPEN BETA" as the final game, It was designed for stress testing, last night there was a major bottleneck and now its gone. Pretty much everything in the game in stored server-side, quests, loot drops and even your characters....

Thats cool you can impress me with your skill and attribute choices making the difference between me failing and you succeeding. Oh wait, our characters will be identical because there are no skill points or attribute points. I guess theres always randomly dropped loot to prove your skill.

Skarteh said: Skill assignments meaning which one you have selected at the time right? Am I correct in thinking that you just unlock skulls and skill runes rather than *spend* anything? Meaning there is effectively no way to go wrong? If that is the case, as it most certainly appears to be, I just don't get why they didn't do it like Guild Wars where it was a combination of skills and attributes that you could change in town any time you want. Still retard proof but actually gave you heaps of replay value while you try different loadouts.

Pact said: Desi said: May even be a day one purchase, who knows? You can prepurchase now on battle.net.
Desi said: Pact said: Desi said: May even be a day one purchase, who knows? You can prepurchase now on battle.net. It's on CDKeysDirect for $64. They worked pretty good for ME3. I'll also try just VPNing it and seeing the price magically drop by $20. Edit: Ooooh $55 is even cheaper. Post-edit: Wait, it's a physical copy. Donut want.

Doyl said: W84NO1 said: But they missout on the neat physical items Games used to have stuff worth getting. Even just the instruction manuals were awesome.

W84NO1 said: I dont play on a PC bcoz i'm a console gamer
Desi said: Yeah I hate physical copies now. They're just one more thing taking up space in my house, and it doesn't really save me any time because if it's not attached to a digital distribution service, then it means I have to patch it manually after installation. Also, paying $80 or $100 for a box with a CD and a five page manual is insulting when I can get the same game for $60 or less online; I'm basically paying 1/3rd or 2/3rds extra for the privilege of getting some dead tree and plastic with my game.
