Stream is laggy as ****. I never played DoTA, so I can't really comment. Looks different from LoL - not as passive early game, more passive late game.

yeah the stream was balls but i think it may be better.now i heard a mate say they have commentary now. i think as long as its dota with a more accesible community and stats its going to be great. tried hon iamtom?

yeah there op for a while and then get nerfed i guess thats how it has to be with that model :( but hon is a dota clone to some extent minus the imbalances in heroes :) i have heard lol is abit different

LoL is pretty different, yeah. It's a lot more fun, imo, but that may be because I started playing LoL before DoTA/HoN

I liked Lol much more than Dota since it's much more accessible to new players like myself. Jumping into Dota is like learning to walk in the middle of a highway.

Hmm it's certainly a new look (omg doom lost weight), but doesn't seem like they've changed the game elements much at all. I thought there were 6 skill slots for a sec but then shadowraze has taken 3...

If anyone expressed interest in the beta, you'll probably be getting an email from Steam asking you to take a survey. Depending on your hardware and Dota experience, you could get picked to play the beta sooner rather than later.

Valve have been sending out surveys re your hardware specs and general DotA question (how many hours have you played, your fave heroes etc). Anyone who completes the survey will get priority in the upcoming Beta invites and anyone who gets invited also gets two codes to share around! [MOG]
