Hey guys,

It seems i'm fairly new to the party, but I've discovered all these kickstarter projects from developers and I think it's a wonderful idea. I gladly contributed to the Double Fines new Point and Click adventure and today I donated for Shadowrun Returns.

I think this in an amazing new process and it allows developers to get rid of the middle man and especially greedy publishers (ie Activision, EA, etc) and making the games that we want to play, not just want focus groups think will sell.

Just wondering what you all think of this whole kickstarter thing.

Survival zombie sandbox shouldn't disappoint not with 16 player co-op [Derp]

I wonder if we'd be hiding indoors barricaded at night time because it's that dangerous :P

Maybe play poker at night with ammunition as currency.

Either way as long as it has scavenging and survival elements in it I'll be happy.

I finally found this again! I had heard about this last year, but had since forgotten its name.

It's called Grim Dawn, it's an open-world post-apocalyptic ARPG by some of the people who made Titan Quest.

I put $25 bucks in dead linger so I get a code for Detour soonish. I also put $25 on Nekro, it seems like a really sweet game having a persistant and changing world.

I'm really excited to test out The Dead Linger, hopefully it's freaking awesome.

Is it going to be multiplayer? If so some MMGN streaming needs to happen.

Of course. They've promised at least 16-player co-op in TDL.

Nekro was successfully funded for 158% of the requested amount today.

And here's one for Elite/Frontier fans! www.kickstarter.com/... I don't think I'll be backing it because I got the entire 'X' series of space games as a prize from the Steam Christmas promo, but it's still pretty interesting.

That's a pretty good find @Desi I'm a huge fan of space combat game, I just could never get into the whole space trading genre.

I've stopped looking at Kickstarter for now, need to stop funding projects and save up for a Wii U!

Anyone jumped on any interesting projects lately?

The last projects I took part in were Haunts: The Manse Macabre and The Dead Linger.

I think Lost Planet is getting close to completion now, which will be the first "delivery" I've had from a Kickstarter project. I can't wait!
