maybe you can organize multiplayer matches, share mods, game saves, screen shots, ask for help when you get stuck, or help people out when they are stuck.

just had another go at running SHOC... >.>

Menu keeps freezing up, then when i try to start a game the it hangs at the loading screen :/

But i highly recommend also getting Clear Sky (you need Shadow for Clear sky as it is an expansion)
With the Community patch it is much better vanilla game then Shadow. but Shadow with Oblivion lost mod is the best.

if you get the steam on you dont need to have shadow

but i own both

Its out in cirtain european countries. But I believe myfragian has an imported russian copy with english subs, the lucky bastard

I finaly got my 5850 and Windows 7 installed.

Clear sky runs on max without even breaking a swet.
Shaddow actually work

Yeah, CS didnt have a special edition here either. Guess I'll have to make do with standard edition again. The game isnt popular enough to send out multiple editions here I suppose. Which is a shame. I would have easily paid the extra moolah for the extra content/collectables. I did with the first and loved the tin casing.

EDIT: Guys, I have found a mod for vanilla, which adds faction wars to the game. Now where I'm getting at is, I have played Oblivion Lost mod and have enjoyed it, however, I want to play this new faction war mod but with the frequent blowouts from OL. Does anyone know a Blowout mod, or a way of extracting just the blowout segment from OL, so I can incorporate that with the faction wars mod?

Call of Pripyat is now on steam!! if you own a steam copy of any of the other two you can purchase it for $19.99 otherwise its $29.99. (USD btw). tis good to see they are not into ripping us off like most of the other game publishers

So the game works standalone via steam, even if you do not own steam copies of either previous game?

I am rather intrigued to play it before official store release.. however I kinda want a hard copy of the game.

EDIT: on an unrelated note, has anyone played the Super mod pack 2.4, for SHOC?
