TF2 - Your Profession ?

Hey guys just made this thread to see what main profession is used by Myfrag members, I use Spy mostly and I like to believe I'm very good at it and I don't use any other character. (Pyro if I get bored)

So MyFrag members which character shows your main profession ?
Ive spent most of my time as Heavy... nothing like a massive gun to haul around

ive used medic, pyro, and engineer also... want to give spy a go...

That's when I play Spy.

I've racked up 76 hours with Scout, and he's easily my most played class.
I've only played about 2 hours of Soldier, though...

I quite like the Soldier but he suffers badly for not having any upgrades and stuff. I always bust him out when I get annoyed by a Sentry, that or a Spy, depends how many Sentries

The soldier needs to be a bit faster, hes way too slow.

Don't you DARE mention upgrades for the Soldier...
It's the most overpowered bollocks in the game. Crit rockets are virtually impossible to avoid at close range while he stays alive.
I say reduce this health or rocket damage.

Agreed Soldier's are insane when they get their upgrades, I guess its a reward for being slow.

I'm not saying he needs more power, he needs more variety. I'd say less health, faster and keep the rocket damage the same otherwise he'd be even more useless VS heavies.

He needs something more interesting than a blam blam blam rocket. Maybe a one shot but very powerful rocket or ...hell I don't know.

I'm thinkin the Slayer from Perfect Dark lol! That would be brilliant against Turrets and it DOES leave you wide open, one shot then reload it wouldn't be too overpowered...I think?

Its the whole ****ing game that needs more variety really but the little the upgrades add are still missing in a few professions. Maybe when every class has an update the game might suck a bit less... I doubt it though.

Rocket jumping makes it feel faster
I don't know what they are going to do for engineer upgrades if it is anything that makes a spies life harder I am gonna be angry. I wonder if they might do some sort of spy detector

I doubt they will, its really the main point of a Spy, nothing else can compare, the Demoman and Soldier are good at taking out Sentries but its pretty hard when you don't know exactly where it is, and in the Soldiers case its hard even when you do because a fully upgraded sentry will annihilate you in the time it takes to flick around a corner, fire, hide and fire again
i agree with the less shot capacity but that one shot is more powerful and leaves you wide open to others.

that is quite a lot like what they did with the scout and the double barrel shotgun.

How :/ your crosshair is still the middle of the screen
Cross hair is just a general thing. Try using the snipers bow and aim it at the ground. It's in his right hand so it will hit the ground to the right of your crosshair.
Any reference to Perfect Dark is automatically a good idea.

Aim the crosshair through the wall at the sentry [in the general direction of it] you can see around the corner anyway

Haha isn't it.

How badass would the Slayer be in TF2 if you could knock out a Turret in one hit with it!

And because its so slow and the PC aiming so fast and accurate you could actually shoot the rocket out of the air with say a scout so its not like it would be almost unstoppable like it was in Perfect Dark where aiming that accurately on the move was ****ing hard.

I think we are on to something here with some balancing this could be such an awesome Soldier upgrade, single shot but powerful wire guided missile with perhaps limited range and speed (about PD speed would be plenty easy to shoot on a PC but it would be better if you could see it).


I'm just thinking of that bit in Pipeline (2nd stage I think) where theres the tunnel with two tracks and then an open part where the soldier almost always gets nailed by the Sentries! I would quite willingly combo the ..Slayer with the Shotgun for most of the work if he walked a bit bloody faster

Haha yeah. The only bad thing is that it counts as an assist kill.
Only for the medic though..?
i like to be a medic, heavy and sometimes a scout
