Just starting this up cause I said I would just to see how many people are interested in this game, since there has hardly been any mention of this game on mmgn at all.

To sum things up in my perspective Tera online is an open world action subscription based MMO.

It's probably one of the more official unique MMOs compared to the likes of WoW etc, but it's by far from the truth, action MMOs are here and there with micro transactions as it's funding.

It's main merit is it's one of the few open world action mmos.

It does have some interesting features like a political system, which allows players to run ingame towns etc, if they can get that far otherwise it does shut out weaker more casual players from that ability while rewarding more dedicated players cause these towns are limited and affect everyone I believe.

the crafting system is soo confusing i may try and understand it more when CB3 is out on the 6th like can you craft components needed for weapons with ingots?
if so where can i get teh craft recipe and i noticed teh blacksmithing level caps at 410 :E

I'm not going to bother with it, I don't think it's really something you should bother with until you're left with nothing else to do.

It consumes time and resources, and it's said the rewards aren't that great anyway for it, but supposedly they're on par with instance weapons.

I believe you can get your first recipes are from the Valkyion board or w/e it's called.

and I'm pretty sure you have to build your black smithing from that etc.

Also you can press H for the help/guide to figure things out.

And as you said you might need to craft components later on, just follow the recipe it's not hard to figure out I'd imagine, just tedious and I don't have the patience for something that eats money and time.

Did I mention the system they have where players can sell subscriptions to other players via in game item. (evil) But yeah doubt it'd be cheap anyway

Main thing to point out is, if you're australian you'll want to wake up an hour earlier if you want to get up as soon as servers up.

Servers will be open from 6 am, because they're compensating AHEAD of time for the day light saving change on sunday.

Edit4: More Tera CBT3 Keys, Australians can get it as well this time not just USA/Canada.

Go get them now if you want to try Tera Online for yourself~! :)

Nah, a Baraka I called Obama, this is on the old pve server but more or less I still got the name and same race on the PvP server.

Been grinding gear all day, probably too committed for a CBT but yeah... I won't really care if I drop lancer and pick up DPS on release =)

New MMO-FO, I really just was this for Bas rutten I think he's funny, and he has that intimidating look, but seems like a super nice guy.

First boss - You need to outdps the NPC, or else you won't get credit. Reset your instance via the "instances" tab at the bottom of your character screen if you're bugged..
