Who uses the Razer Nostromo?

Does anybody use the Razer Nostromo (Or Belkin T2U) For RTS and Shooters?
I just got mine and was wondering how others are finding it.

Oh, another keypad user!

I don't use a Nostromo, but I have used a Wolfclaw Devour ( japanese.engadget.com/... ) and am now using a Logitech G13 ( www.logitech.com/... ). The Wolfclaw is a plain keypad that acts as a plug-and-play keyboard and can't be rebound unless you use third-party macro tools like Autohotkey. The G13 is full rebindable, however.

The only reason I chose a G13 over the other keypads is that it has a joystick (I was experimenting with joystick movement instead of WASD). It only has two more buttons than the Nostromo does, actually, assuming that it's easy and reliable to hit diagonal directions on the Nostromo's 8-way stick.

Is it easy and reliable to hit the diagonals? If so, I may have a gander next time I see one.

Yeah! I prefer taking the circular bit off though, as an xbox user, i prefer the concave (i think thats the one that bends in) feel.
I checked out the Logitech one, but i've been a razer fan (:D) so i got the nostromo!
So far for me its working really well. [MOG]

Although the photography always looks 10x better than what it actually looks like :D

They might be equal overall. G13 has two more buttons and the ability to use the thumbstick as a hardware joystick. It would probably come down to comfort and size, so try them both out if you can.

I can tell you, though, that the G13 takes a bit of getting used to. At first you're not accustomed to the upwards-arcing palm rest and the thing seems a little too large, but you get used to it over time. It's very natural and comfortable for me now.

For comparison, my hand width (four fingers together, measuring at knuckle) is 8cm, hand length from base of palm to tip of middle finger is 17cm, and I have stubby fingers. People with larger hands than I have will more readily adapt to the G13.
