Take it from someone who's been playing for 5 and 1/2 years its boring and preparative gameplay is what makes WoW really boring. You can launch the patch from the USB stick, the patches for WoW will detect where you've installed the game and it will start patch the game. You dont need to transfer the file to the game folder.
