Just found this on Bioware website and couldnt find a post about it so created one

and cutting through the rubbish he basically said this

"So here's what I can confirm for now:

The next game will be called Dragon Age III: Inquisition.
We won't be talking about the story of the game today. Though you can make some guesses from the title.
This game is being made by a lot of the same team that has been working on Dragon Age since Dragon Age: Origins. It's composed of both experienced BioWare veterans and talented new developers.
We are working on a new engine which we believe will allow us to deliver a more expansive world, better visuals, more reactivity to player choices, and more customization. At PAX East, we talked about armor and followers… Yeah, that kind of customization. We've started with Frostbite 2 from DICE as a foundation to accomplish this."

Direct quote. Any thoughts start rambling. Wikipedia has some interesting things to say about the plot btw.

yea i saw this too... hope they can make a story as epic as da: origins, but i highly doubt it. the amount of choice in that game was ridiculous (love)

Yes absolutely loved the Dragon Age Origins story line so much I often play it again occasionally because its that good. But honeslty didnt mind 2.

Its been going round that the game will be focused around Orlay (not sure if i splet that right) and that you are trying to determine who is bringing this world into chaos

But that you wont play as Hawke or the Warden, you play as the Inquisitor. But this doesnt mean that you wont see the Warden or Hawke again. Honestly I would love to run into my Warden and team up. Man that would be great.

It should be good, I played a fair bit of Origins and thought it was pretty decent. Not a huge fan but still keen to check it out.

The only downside is that it looks like it is going to be Origin exclusive, same with Dragon Age 2. I have nothing against Origin, every time i have use it, it has worked, but i know that a majority of the internet hasnt had the same experience

I don't hate Origin, I just like having all my games in the one place. At the moment I have most of them on Steam, then Origin, the UPlay and GOG.COM. I'd like to support GOG.COM when I can now they have new indie games, but otherwise I just like to keep everything collected on Steam. It's just a convenience thing really.

And the map/area of thedas that the game takes place is in supposed to be bigger than fereldan so hopefully it takes place over multiple countries

i hope they keep the combat system like da2, or at least improve it... it made archery really fun

the combat system was a great change. Everyone said it was too consoley but you could still go for a pause and play style, it also made all the classes better.

Yeh thats it orlais. And supposedly you choose from 10 followers to have in your party.

i hate pause and play style. in both mass effect and dragon age, i tried to make all my main moves accessible by hotkeys or whatever. pausing takes away from the action and makes things too easy. thats why i prefer to play them on console

Well I guess we will have to agree to disagree. How much of an impact will your decisions from previous games have on this one. They have to include the choices some how but there will be so many branching paths set out already. Mainly just because of Origins but I think Dragon Age 2 decisions will impact as well. Not just the end game but all the little choices in between.
