I never had any issues with Vista at all.
I still miss my quick launch bar somewhat.

I'm still using Vista, never had a problem with it at all. I actually quite like Vista.

If i had a computer 20 years old maybe,. Can't remember what I put in mine. It's an intel quad core. Bought it just before the i series came out

hardly doubt it would be ready as an OS as yet especially with software compatibily, security would be a major issue personally i wouldn't trust/rely running this as an OS yet.

So I got this running on the old MacBook Pro and it works fine, but the Twitter and Socialite apps are not working.

The Twitter app shows my posts and who I'm following, but I can't see my timeline.

Socialite won't even login at all haha.

It works with all of my steam games perfectly, no compatability issues to be found. I had to disable the metro crap though because it was just too annoying, ended up tabbing me out(they put tabs to the side of the screen to shift over) on tribes too many times. Other than that, its a carbon copy of Windows 7 with some touch screen features and 'apps'.

No, there are quite a few apps. Most of them are just gimmicky though.
Is that the only apps available right now?

Ive installed the consumer preview via virtualbox. It feels nice and fast i'll give it that. But the whole OS is aimed at tablets and is a pain to use on a normal pc. Everything seems to be hidden out of the way and its annoying to have to constantly click and drag things with the mouse (meant to be swiped with a touchscreen), which cant seem to be turned off.
I really tried to like it but i just cannot get past all the dumbed down features of it. I have absolutely no intention of purchasing it -_-
