I'm having a mess around with it now for the first time, and I think it may come in handy because you can see all your accounts such as MSN, Live, PSN, Steam and more.

I can see what everyone is doing on Steam but I can't chat :'@ (this is because of Steam failing on my PC)

You can add your xfire account to this as well and from what I can tell only a few games so far are compatible.

well i downloaded it and added steam, when i highlight someone from steam it says "chat" but when I click on it a steam chat window just pops up

Yeah that's what I get as well.
If you check your online profile after making an account you have all your achievements listed.

I finally remembered my login details thanks to their update email letter. Got the app working with my Steam, Live and PSN accounts. Downloaded the app and setting it up now, I forgot how handy this service was.

Looks like I already have you on here.
Feel free to add me my username is Guyv3r.

Now I have this setup again I don't need to have Windows messenger running, also pretty cool that I can chat with my Live friends without having to open up a PC game that runs off Live. Also for some reason it makes me want to whore achievements so my stats page doesn't look so n00b :P If I can get FB chat to work trough here I'll have everything rolled into one.

It will add the achievements for live though like your dirt 3.. :)
