I like having a tidy desk and do my best to keep it that way...well that's what I tell myself after I've just done a clean up. Just takes one weekend and it's covered in lolly wrappers, half drunken cans of soft drink, bills and sticky notes.
Anyone here actually capable of keeping their desk clean all the time or does everyone just lapse into slack mode when they have some time off or when they get too busy?

My bin is right under my desk, but it's starting to overflow. I think there's a few soft drink cans and milk bottles just standing next to the bin, as if waiting for the recycling truck.

The tabletop is a lot cleaner than it used to be, but I do have a few random books and junk there since I'm also using it as a bedside table.

My desk is covered with beauty products actually. I sit here and do my nails, shape and file, and I sit here and pluck my eye brows :P
Besides that its got random USB sticks and cords...

I cleaned up yesterday so it's only had a day to accumulate junk, I'll take an update pic at the end of the week. How bad it gets depends on how much work I have to do.

There is a bit of room but yeah 2000 DPI gaming mouse and its still pretty slow in my opinion, I need a newer one.

Is that a Fii0 amp on your desk? Be a shame to see this space get messy though I do look forward to seeing how bad you can make it.

There is a bit of room but yeah 2000 DPI gaming mouse and its still pretty slow in my opinion, I need a newer one.

I generally play twitch games but never have my mouse above 1200 dpi. Default Windows mouse sense with acceleration disabled and cplmousefix installed. Small mouse areas bother me as a result.

It's a SteelSeries 6Gv2. I used a friend's Filco the other day and comparatively it's a lot heavier and a bit more responsive (although the responsiveness may be because his is older than mine). I'm happy with it, no issues at all with it and I really like the weight.

Nah it's set of Logitech Z2300's running through an external Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround Pro card.

I'd do a Filco Majestouch tenkeyless sometime in the future. Mechanical keyboards feel so much better for extended periods of typing.

The two DACs look pretty similar. Would you recommend it? Macbooks lack microphone inputs because Apple believes them to be counter-intuitive.

I sway mostly towards brown switches. Seems to me like the best feel/noise ratio. I don't game all that much. So conscious of the noise factor of mechanical keyboards.

@abuu91 can't tell the difference between this one and the Creative X-FI internal sound card I had in there before. Pretty dam cheap for what you get www.pccasegear.com/... Not sure if the software is OSX compatible though.

According to their site and a quick search online they do not appear to have official driver support. Stereo sound apparently works out of the box on it though. A 5.1 card may be overkill for myself since I only have stereo speakers and headphones.
