I like having a tidy desk and do my best to keep it that way...well that's what I tell myself after I've just done a clean up. Just takes one weekend and it's covered in lolly wrappers, half drunken cans of soft drink, bills and sticky notes.
Anyone here actually capable of keeping their desk clean all the time or does everyone just lapse into slack mode when they have some time off or when they get too busy?

So far these past few moths a bad weekend habit has developed, pretty much come Monday I have desk that looks like part trash can and part kitchen sink :P

After swapping printers over on my desk from a large one to a much smaller one I noticed (was a bit hard not o notice.. that the area under the printer was nasty dirty stared off by cleaning that section of the desk then got carried away and cleaned the entire surface of my desk. Cleaned my phone, chucked out heaps of crap, put away everything I'm not using and blasted all he crap out of both my keyboards. Looks nice and sanitary now Desk Cleanliness

My desk is an absolute pigsty but I know where everything is so that's all that matters. I usually clean it up once a month, it starts clean for about a week and then all hell breaks loose!

It's been a whole week since I did an extreme clean up of my desk and I've managed to not let it go this time. No empty plate, no invoices and bills everywhere and no snacks all over the place as well. It is a much nicer place to be when you can see the desk, going to try my best to keep it that way now.

Yeah, I like keeping my desk clean too. However, I have a pretty dusty room, most likely due to my carpet floor; I do vacuum... occasionally.

So whenever I have my desk clean which is upwards of 70% of the time, I end up being able to see all the dust on the glass. [Rage]

And yes, I clean the desk too. [heartbreak]
