Well there's been enough instances where we've discussed the topic of cars in the general social thread so why not have one dedicated to it.
If you've just got a new car, shopping for a new one, broke you current one, dreaming about that exotic sports car, into tuning, want to bitch about n00bs on the road and so on and so forth.

Today I went out and bough some 4000k Philips headlamp bulbs because I wanted that cleaner looking light. I went into Autobarn and grabbed a set of H4's which I assumed that were the correct size because that's what was in my last Commodore, but when we got back and my mate and I started fitting them it turns out Holden has now decided to go to the H11 sized bulb. So I had to do a mad dash back to the shop and do an exchange. Well they are fitted now and I like the look so I'll be going back to get another set of these bulbs for the fog lights.

Dude that's the rims I have on there now

but the last owner guttered 3 out of the 4 rims. I am tempted to get them fix because they are a nice rim.

That yellow wagon you posted earlier looks very nice with those wheels.

@DoYL - yes, but at least the FWD anything has 10 times more style, so if it's gonna be beaten, it'll be losing with style

Can't say I have, i'm not that into cars, to me as long as it looks decent and can drive i'm happy

My interests lie in other places, like politics ( lies ) and space, and science, and tin foil hats.

Soo don't take anything I say about cars seriously

Fair enough, hey if you're not that into cars I strongly suggest you don't even try to build that Mustang on your own you will **** kittens when you find out how much of a head ache it will be. Do like what most people do and drop a suitcase filled with cash at a reputable car builder.

That's what I would have done I think, buy it, and then get someone else to do the dirty work for me.

But yes it'll be too expensive, so i'm sticking with a normal car until i somehow manage to become a millionaire

Yup if you don't care about cars all you need is to like how it looks and have it be reliable. But don't be surprised if you start caring about cars when you start driving.

And I looooove Wagons

I'd have one over a sedan any day! They look sooo hawt when pimped.

Ok change of plan, I've recently been looking at new wheels because the previous owner of my car damaged them and it's been bothering me a lot. After talking to my mate who's a panel beater and he said that his work uses a place that does a really good job at rim repair. So I've decided to go get the rims I have now repaired and powder coated black. Also while the wheels are off I'll get front and rear bumpers resprayed because Holden did a crap job at matching the colour and I want to get the tow bar removed. See to fit a tow bar to my car you actually have to cut a hole in the rear bumper so I want to get that filled. When I get a chance I'll get a proper quote to get both bumpers done and the rims repaired and painted, rough guess it should all be done for under 2 grand. I think that a better plan than getting new wheels.

But, removing the towball is sad. How will you pick up bargains from garage sales and loads of mulch for your garden etc? But I guess if it looks ass ...

I have never needed a tow bar before ever but if for some reason I did my other car has one.
